To provide core features, this app stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Scan History: the content, format, and type of QR codes/barcodes you scan

  • Generate History: data of QR codes/barcodes you create

  • App Settings: language, vibration preference, and other configurations

Important:
All of this data stays only on your phone. We do not upload, sync, or send it to any server or third party.

2.2 Permissions We Use

The app may request these permissions:

  • Camera: required to scan QR codes/barcodes

  • Storage / Photos (optional): used only if you choose to save images to your gallery or scan from images

  • Vibrate: for haptic feedback when scan succeeds (can be turned off in Settings)

3. How We Use the Data

We use local data only to:

  • run scanning and generating features

  • show your scan/generate history for convenience

  • remember your app settings

  • improve your overall experience inside the app

4. Data Storage and Deletion

All data is stored locally using device storage (SharedPreferences). You can delete it anytime by:

  • using Clear History in the app, or

  • clearing app data / uninstalling the app from device settings

Uninstalling the app removes all stored data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your data.
Everything remains on your device.

6. Data Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect locally stored data.
However, no digital storage system is completely secure. While we do our best, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-Party Services

This app works fully offline and does not use third-party services that collect personal data. No internet connection is required for core functions.

8. Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

  • Access: view history anytime in the app

  • Delete: clear scan/generate history whenever you want

  • Control Settings: change language, vibration, and preferences freely

  • Remove Data: uninstalling the app deletes everything

9. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Please review it periodically.
